Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sprinkle ("Sprinkle", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit sprinkle.id or use the Sprinkle dashboard application (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) when you sign up.
- Workspace & site data: the website URL, business details, target keywords, and content you provide so Sprinkle can generate SEO recommendations.
- Connected-account data: if you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, we access the search performance and analytics data those services expose for the property you authorize, solely to display it inside your Sprinkle dashboard.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and basic device/browser information, collected to keep the Service reliable and to improve it.
- Billing information: payment details are processed by our payment provider; Sprinkle does not store full card numbers on its own servers.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To generate keyword, content, and SEO recommendations for your workspace.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Sprinkle (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing, and, if you connect them, Google's APIs), each bound by contractual confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
4. Data retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your Sprinkle Settings, or by contacting us at privacy@sprinkle.id. If Google user data is involved (Search Console / Analytics), you can also revoke Sprinkle's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email before they take effect.
